Amid rumors of the couple’s reconciliation,Cardi Band Offset didn’t hold back the P.D.A. on the 2019 Grammys red carpet.
The Grammy-nominated rapper, 26, posed alongside the Migos rapper, 27, holding his face and kissing tongue-to-tongue for photographers on the carpet.
Cardi got decked out in some serious high-fashion designer clothes for her second appearance of music’s biggest awards show. The rapper went with a vintage Mugler design pulled straight from the archives from the label’s Fall 1995 Couture collection.

The unique gown appears to feature a sequin nude bodysuit and long black skirt blooming out of a dramatic clam shell. The design featured a beautiful pearl belt draped around Cardi’s hips, full-length pastel pink gloves, a large pearl bib choker necklace and a twisted pearl beehive atop of her head.
Cardi told PEOPLE a week before the Grammys at the Super Bowl that she did a total of four fittings to perfect the look.
“It’s a very big night, like, I’ve been having anxiety,” she told us. “I haven’t been able to think straight because I’m just thinking about that day, not only do you got a performance that it’s got to be flawless, you’re also hoping that you win something.”
Fans had mixed reactions about Cardi’s look on Twitter. “Cardi B’s Grammy outfit makes me want the entire album she wrote as a backdrop soundtrack to watching the little mermaid….. and I’d like nothing more. Thank you. 🧜♀️🦀,” one fan wrote. But another fan disagreed, tweeting, “Ok so I am a Cardi b fan….. i mean since day 1 but this Grammy dress … Issa no for me.”
Someone else thought the look gave ofThe Little Mermaidvibes.

A source close to the couple — who share 6-month-old daughter Kulture Kiari —recently confirmed to PEOPLEthat they were getting back together.

The insider told PEOPLE, “He has been pursuing her hard and trying to convince her to get back together with him since the day they split.”
While in Atlanta for the Super Bowl last week, Cardiopened up PEOPLEabouttheir breakupand recent reconciliation, saying her relationship with Offset is “a personal thing.”
The couple split late last year amid rumors of infidelity. As the rumors circulated, Offset admitted, “I was partaking in activity that I shouldn’t have been partaking in, and I apologize. You know what I’m saying? For breaking your heart, for breaking our promise, for breaking God’s promise and being a selfish, messed up husband.”
