The new mom, 27, shared a behind-the-scenes glimpse at her holiday festivities with her newborn Sofia – who shewelcomed with husband Mauricio Scotton Dec. 18 – via herInstagram Storieson Wednesday, Dec. 25.
The first post was of Sofia bundled up in a car seat.
“Merry Christmas,” Alex wrote in the caption, along with a pink bow and red heart emoji. “Sofia’s got places to be and people to see.”

But Sofia wasn’t the only precious cargo in the vehicle. Alex continued to share a video of her car ride and revealed thather dog Georgedecided to lay on her lap while she was in the backseat with her daughter.
“This is the current situation,” she said to the camera. “I’m riding in the backseat with Sophia and George.”

The Food Network star shared that same day inan article on her websitethat her son-in-law Scott wasso supportive of her daughterduring birth, she almost felt like she didn’t need to be there.
“Alex did great, and so did Mauricio,” Drummond wrote. “We arrived in Dallas and got to see them in the hospital just as Alex was transitioning from latent to active labor, and it was so wonderful to see how much they love and support each other.”
