Miley Cyrushas new music up her sleeve!On Tuesday night, the “Used to Be Young” singerdebuted a new songduring an intimate performance at Los Angeles’ Chateau Marmont ahead of her 31st birthday on Nov. 23.
Wearing a strapless black mini dress and matching gloves, the singer was heard singing the lyrics, “Don’t know if it’s ever gonna stop / I wouldn’t mind if it don’t / Don’t leave me high / Don’t let me down / ‘Cause I want you more.”
As she sang, “Don’t let me down,” she looked straight at the front row, where Morando appeared to be sitting, causing the crowd to erupt into laughter.

During the special performance, which included a group of invite-only guests,per Billboard, Cyrus also gave the first live performance of herGrammy-nominatedbreakup hit “Flowers,” which isrumored to be about her ex-husbandLiam Hemsworth.

A second source also told PEOPLE that Morando — who produced two songs onEndless Summer Vacation— is a “cool guy” whose drama-free personality Cyrus finds refreshing.
“He has no interest in being a huge celebrity; he’s very low-key. Miley loves these qualities,” the insider said at the time. “Miley can be herself. They are supportive of each other’s careers. Miley is enjoying life and things are great.”
