Google Sync allowed Google Mail , Calendar and Contacts admittance through the Microsoft Exchange ActiveSync protocol . The creation of the newCardDAV opened protocolprovides the same functionality , but starting on January 30th , you wo n’t be able to sign up for a newfangled Google Sync account .
