Cirque de Soleil founder Guy Laliberté spent 11 solar day at the International Space Station in 2009 , taking photo of our planet with a Nikon D3X tv camera . And now he ’s stick an expo unfold at the Marlborough Gallery in Manhattan , have 40 of his best space photos .

Laliberté tells ARTINFO :

When you ’re flying up there , you have those moments where you ’re looking at space , at the space , and you see that flimsy planet , you see that little tiny layers protect it from the nihility , from darkness , from vast number of stars . And you start to palpate a little worried about this planet that looks so delicate in this universe . You know there ’s life somewhere . We can not be alone . But so far the human mintage has not yet accomplish the challenge of finding other life-time or another billet where we could live … you get down to tell yourself , well peradventure we ’re just another metal money passing by . You begin to go for that we will start organizing to survive on this satellite longer than we would if we do n’t take upkeep of it .
