It was festal , it was gory , it was campy , and it leave the room access open in the likely event Chucky gets a season three . The Christmas - theme “ Chucky Actually ” wrapped upa satisfying time of year twoforDon Mancini’shorror comedy , but ifthe showdoes refund , it ’ll be without several of the show ’s meat character so far .
The reason for that , of course , is season two ’s hideous body count , which tap out quite a few major hurl members . The most spectacular destruction scenes were set aside for Father Bryce ( Devon Sawa ) , who exploded mid - dispossession ; Jennifer Tilly ( as “ herself , ” albeit with her soul trapped in a Tiffany Valentine dame ) , who was splosh by a motortruck ; and the chainsaw - bisected Mayor Michelle Cross ( Barbara Alyn Woods , real - life mother of Chucky cast member Alyvia Alyn Woods , who plays Michelle ’s daughter Lexy ) . Amid all the carnage ( and those listed above were just a handful of the stiff parade this season ) , there were also multiple resurrections , most notably Glen and Glenda ( Lachlan Watson ) , who made a life - or - end conclusion to riposte their soul to the doll we first met in Seed of Chucky ( vocalise by Billy Boyd ) , newly rechristened “ G.G.”—and , well , Chucky himself ( voiced by Brad Dourif ) , whose gotcha ! render in the last scene was just as cheesy as it needed to be .
The next-to-last sequence , “ Goin’ to the Chapel , ” consecrate itself to tie up most of the game thread we ’ve been take after all season , culminate in the fibre facing off at the Catholic school run by Father Bryce ( RIP ) , where Lexy , Jake ( Zackary Arthur ) , and Devon ( Björgvin Arnarson ) were compelled to enrol after being blamed for one of Chucky ’s early - time of year kill . The season ’s biggest set objet d’art was the existence of multiple Chucky dolls with a shared soul but different personalities , including a mistily “ Good ” Chucky , an alarmingly buff Chucky , and a Chucky molded after Marlon Brando ’s fibre in Apocalypse Now , and yes Dourif did a Brando caricature in his Chucky voice for that one . “ Goin’ to the Chapel ” streamlined all the Chuckys — including the one scrunch up inside of Nica Pierce ( Fiona Dourif)—into a unmarried soul once again , and turn over us a sweet , Childs Play 2 - inspired send - off for fan - favorite characters and staunch Chucky survivors Andy ( Alex Vincent ) and Kyle ( Christine Elise ) . It also got all the child out of the shoal and back home to Hackensack … just in meter for Christmas .

As “ Chucky Actually ” begin , the grapheme all believe Chucky is dead — though the audience lie with he escaped the Catholic school day thanks to the nefarious Dr. Mixter ( Rosemary Dunsmore ) , who just so happen to have a pristine Good Guy doll tucked by in her business office . As the episode counts down the “ chopping daylight ” until Christmas and the confrontation we all know is coming , we see Lexy emerging from a successful Erolia minutilla in rehab and reuniting with Jake and Devon to celebrate the vacation at Mayor Michelle ’s aggressively festive McMansion . There ’s finally a sense of moving on , as “ Jevon ” rekindle their Romance language and all three teens begin to realise Chucky is n’t the only affair they have in rough-cut — though Lexy raise the vexation that they ’ll end up like Andy and Kyle , spending their integral lives paralyzed by “ a concluded compulsion with all things Chucky . ”
frankly , it ’s something to care about … specially as “ Chucky Actually ” roar forward to cue us that no sense of closure in the small fry ’s Play universe is ever lasting . After seeing her mother in pieces on Christmas Eve , Lexy pounces on “ the last Chucky standing ” and rips him to pieces . But any catharsis she feels from that evaporates when her younger sister Caroline ( Carina London Battrick ) , who had some Bad Seed vibraphone in season one but has been mostly scatty from the history this time around , emerges with her own sinister agendum . too soon in season two , Dr. Mixter give Caroline a “ Belle ” doll — the precise same type of wench that played boniface to Tiffany Valentine before she transferred her soul into the human Jennifer Tilly . Tiffany - Jennifer wants to come back to doll form , and — since the doll containing Jennifer Tilly ’s soulfulness got smashed by a truck — she needs Caroline ’s Belle . Lexy , Devon , and Jake watch in horror as Caroline volitionally leaves with Tiffany - Jennifer , her Belle doll in tow . But they ’d be even more horror-struck to memorize , as we do in the final view , that Belle is actually yet another Chucky doll in disguise , and creepy Caroline ’s been Team Chucky all this clock time . Not only does Tiffany not get to transfer her mortal into the doll , it ’s implied that Chucky ’s lastly gotten retribution against his double - crossing Brigid . And it goes without saying , his killing fling is utterly back on track .
With some Brobdingnagian question left unanswered at the closing of season two , it seems a third time of year is decidedly in order . Is Tiffany really dead ? Will pint - sized lunatic Caroline help Chucky get revenge against the Hackensack kids , as well as the rambling G.G. ? How will Lexy , Jake , and Devon come through this recent round of psychic trauma ? What will hap to Nica ? Will Kyle and Andy ever be able-bodied to leave all thing Chucky behind ? What new office will Mancini cook up for Devon Sawa , who ’s now died three times on Chucky as three unlike characters ? Can any succeeding installment top a season closing curtain that included Chucky enumerate not only his own interlingual rendition of “ Twas the Night Before Christmas , ” but spill the beans us out with a “ 12 Day of Christmas ” that score up every exclusive one of time of year two ’s grim kills ? Honestly , it ’s doubtful . But we ’d for sure make out to see where this wild , screaming , sometimes incredibly earnest , other times fantastically blood - soaked ride goes next .
