There ’s a caboodle going on in this trailer : First , there ’s the meet - cute between the only two conscious hoi polloi on this ship . Then there ’s a mysterious disaster striking the starship Avalon . And then there ’s Laurence Fishburne , who of a sudden shows up as literally the third human being we see . Finally , Jim ( Chris Pratt ) says there ’s something he needs to tell Aurora ( Jennifer Lawrence ) about why she ’s awake , since that contingent was in earlier synopses of the film . ( I ’m not going to coddle it here . )

Mostly , it ’s adept to finally see a trailer for Passengers , which has been in limbo for years and gone through several rumor casting . But other than that , this appear like a pretty typical infinite movie .
