Water tends to absorb Inner Light in the red portion of the visible spectrum , often giving the subjects of underwater marine picture taking a blue - dark-green tint that can wash out their natural colors .
To get around this trouble , photographerMark Laitaplaces his subjects in a decidedly abnormal setting , using tank , studio inflammation and black backcloth to bewitch creatures ’ true chromaticity . The results are nothing short of incredible .
