A squad of Yale astronomersgot a trivial crafty recently . “ These are the same kind of lens that are used in sporting events like the World Cup . We decided to target them up rather , ” said Pieter van Dokkum , chair of Yale ’s uranology department , who helped project the telescope . The team decided to call the innovation the Dragonfly Telephoto Array , since it resemble the insect ’s eyes . Meanwhile , a special coating that suppresses internally scattered Inner Light made it easier for the scope to see the diffuse twinkle of the new gnome galaxies .
