Akihabara , Tokyo ’s electronics dominion , is something of a mecca for appliance freaks . Even if you do n’t intend to grease one’s palms anything , it merits a pilgrimage just to capture a glimpse of all the crazy futurist electronics that may or may not run into American shore sometime in the next few years . A few weeks ago we sport an Akihbara field account from Gizmodo pal Gabriel Meister ; now WhiningDog.net has another one , with load of pictures of what they saw on their recent slip to Japan .
