According to RocketNews24 , a boy in China ask a frigid sal soda can straight out of the deep freezer and when he pull back the lozenge , the can exploded and sent atomic number 13 shrapnel directly at his nerve . It was a serious combat injury that required 31 stitches to his face and 7 inside his lip . Yikes ! How did this happen ?

Well , body of water ( which makes up most of soda water ) extend as it freezes so it takes up more space inside the can . And since a tonic can is only project to hold a limited volume of gamy - fructose maize sirup succus , the immobilise event can push against the physical constraints of the can . Once the container can no longer um , contain the intensity of the content , it ’ll damp . The boy was probably ill-starred in that when he opened the can , it was the exact instant the pressure level inside the can was too much for the can to do by — thus the explosion and thus , the sharp Al edge slicing his impudence .
It ’s an unfortunate situation and we hope the boy can bounce back from this fearful stroke . For the rest of us , remember to take your can or bottle of carbonated beverage out of the freezer before it explodes ormaybe sample other methods of cool crapulence .
